AF Spring Trail Care
9am in the Mohawk lot it is day two! Revenge of trail day? So you couldn’t make Saturday or maybe it rained us out? Well don’t worry because when it comes to the Agreement Forest mother nature always seems to give us something to tune up(If day one(the 30th) actually got rained out please see that event page instead)
On this first day of May we’ll be focusing our efforts in the B.C. Rocks region. Fixing up the old “easy/hard” line and removing the rotting wood. Armouring a small section of board-walk. We’ll walk in and a small group will tackled a project near tea-pot, and the rest of the group will walk down stunt trail to B.C. rocks. The most popular route in the southern part of the forest. What should you bring for this trail day? It will mostly be rock work, but the following general items will be of help:
- Hedge sheers
- Tools for pulling up saplings
- Water bottle
- Bug juice or netting
Here is a rough guide in case you don’t know where B.C. Rocks is!
Thanks for helping and many thanks to our sponsors!
